Bad experience at Epcot
- - Test Track broke after 45 minutes.
- - Land and Sea and Soarin had failures; no rides.
- - Spent over $500 plus $30 parking for nothing.
Visited with my son and grandson on Jan.13th
After waiting for the Test Track ride for 45 mins it broke down. Waited for Land and Sea but that ride too had mechanical failure.
Finally they tried for the ride Soarin waiting quite some time. That too was then broken with no ride available. It cost me over $500 for the day plus over $ 30 parking for nothing but waiting and canceled rides. This is very bad and I feel as if my money was wasted.
I think Epcot needs rides to ne reliable and in working order.
You have become a third rate attraction since my visit ten years ago. Not good enough.
Very disappointed.
Three rides broke down and the wait time was 75 mins for a ten minute ride. This shouldn’t happen as the entrance costs are very high.
- - Three rides broke down and wait times were excessive.
- - It is far too expensive today, and ten years ago it was a much better experience.
Three rides broke down and the wait time was excessive. Epcot needs be efficient to make it enjoyable and it isnt.
Far too expensive a day out at present. Ten years ago it was a much better experience.
User's recommendation: Far too expensive for what you get. Needs updating.

- - At Epcot, with a stroller and two kids, I was told to drop the diaper bag and go to the other side to exit.
- - I had to go to the hospital and I’m still having trouble with my eye.

Verified ReviewerCast complimen on website inadequate
- - Cast compliments at Disney are recognized by management.
- - The app only asks for the cast member's name and has no space for event details.
Giving a cast compliment at a Disney park is a big deal. The cast member will be recognized by the management team, and it definitely affects retention and progression.
When we have extra good experiences, we try to stop at guest services to give one. As the park was closing last night, we had an amazing experience with some cast members. This morning, I tried to use the cast compliment feature on the app, complete fail! It doesn't ask for or offer space for what took place at all!
Stupid! It only asks for the CM's name?
Why? How do you recognize nothing?
- Festivals
- Cast members
- Attractions
- App is not great
- Costs
Preferred solution: Nothing But they need to either remove the cm compliment feature or allow for the specific details of the magical moment to be given, obviously.
User's recommendation: DoNot leave the park before stopping into guest services and asking to leave both a paper Cast Compliment and a thank you note for the CM. Insist when they try to divert you to the app.
Unacceptable experience from Disney
Last Saturday, a fight broke out in the middle of Mexico at Epcot. It took way too long for security to step in.

- - At Epcot, Guardians DAS wasn't honored, causing a long outdoor wait with no shade.
- - Magic Kingdom photo stand staff were rude and offered no empathy.
Ive just had the worst experience at Epcot. Could not get a VQ DAS for gaurdians so bpught a lightwning lane.
25 minutes queing outside with no shade at all.. expaloned to the 2 girls who are there to apparently help all 3 are in shade with fans. As we go though.. no one told us there would be a massive wait inside.
I started to have a melt down inside due to the heat and wait. I had to leave. Went to speak to the 3 girls who wouldnt help at all. Gave us a return time but said we wpuld have to wait in thw same long queue.
At this point i al visibly starting to struggle.. rocking back and forth and ceying uncontrollably. Noone asked if i was ok. No pne tried to help.
Im currently still crying in the taxt back to my hotel. Ive never been so embarrassed and had to run through the park screaming to get out. That line and those 3 women have completely ruined my day and my partners. I thought cast memebers and DAS was meant to help austim.
Im so upset and angry and embarrassed. Why is there not a das lane for those who can prove they have it and have paid money for lightening. I feel like they just didnt believe me. I cant stop crying.
Im so upset.
2nd complaint. Magic kingdom yesterday, 5pm Jim Silhouette stand. He is the rudest, most horrible person. Waiting patiently for our turn..
he was short.. rude.. spoke to me like i was stupid. So much so i had to take myself away and let my partner deal with him.
He didnt ask once if i was ok, didnt speak to my partner at all whilst we paid for 2 pictures. Another awful experience.
Everybody in that queue left miserable after speaking to him. He should bot he working for Disney with his attitude
User's recommendation: Don't buy a lightning lane thinking you'll be ok with autism

- - Epcot: no DAS for Guardians; waited 25 mins outside in sun; bought Lightning Lane.
- - Magic Kingdom: Jim Silhouette rude; no check on wellbeing.
I've just had the worst experience at Epcot. I couldn't get a VQ DAS for Guardians of the Galaxy, so I bought a Lightning Lane.
I had to queue for 25 minutes outside with no shade at all. I explained this to the 3 girls who were there to help; all of them were in the shade with fans. As we were going through, no one informed us there would be a long wait inside. I began to have an autistic meltdown due to the heat and wait.
I had to leave. I then went to speak to the 3 girls, who offered no help at all. They gave us a return time but told us we would have to wait in the same long queue. At this point, I was visibly starting to struggle, rocking back and forth and crying uncontrollably, with my hands over my ears.
No one asked if I was okay. No one tried to help. I'm currently still crying in the taxi back to my hotel. I've never been so embarrassed, running through the park screaming to get out.
The line and those 3 women have completely ruined my day and my partner's. I thought cast members and DAS were meant to help those with autism. I'm so upset, angry, and embarrassed. Why is there not a DAS lane for those who can prove they have it and have paid money for Lightning?
I feel like they just didn't believe me. I can't stop crying. I'm so upset. My partner also asked if there was a quiet place for me to wait instead.
Their answer was no. They just didn't care and should not be in the DAS assistance area.
This is my second complaint, but it happened at Magic Kingdom on the 7th of November, 2024, at 5 pm, at Jim Silhouette's stand. He is the rudest, most horrible person. We were waiting patiently for our turn.
He was curt, rude, and spoke to me as if I was stupid. It was so bad that I had to remove myself from the situation as I was visibly distressed, and let my partner deal with him. He didn't bother to ask once if I was okay, didn't speak to my partner at all while we paid and waited for 2 pictures. It was another terrible experience.
Everybody in that queue left feeling miserable after dealing with him. He shouldn't be working for Disney with his attitude.
User's recommendation: Do not buy a lightning lane if you have autism. It is the same as standby and you will not be given any help in any way, shape or form

They offered me no replacement or discount!
I contacted them because the handles on my cup That I really cherished, broke off.
They did respond back to me eventually and said to me that they don't make this type of cup anymore and then they said that they could Not offer me a replacement of any kind and instead, I would have to go on to their website and buy another one.
I don't think that this was fair coming from a billion dollar company!

Verified ReviewerUnacceptable staff behavior at Epcot.
- - Elderly mom with Parkinson's and hip surgery faced a confusing DAS process.
- - Denied DAS after a 30-second interview; inconsistent return times.
I am shocked and frustrated with the treatment of my 82-year-old elderly mom with Parkinson's and recent hip surgery. I won't start with how confusing and frustrating my mom was trying to go through the DAS approval.
She spent three different nights waiting in a queue to do her interview for over two hours each night. Finally, the night before our first park visit she was able to get connected and, within 30 seconds, she was denied because she didn't suffer from autism or similar. It's ridiculous how many times we read on your website and were told by Disney staff that the DAS is for people with Autism or similar, yet no one, not one person, could define what similar meant. We thought that an 82-year-old with Parkinson's, confined to a wheelchair along with recent hip surgery would clearly show your expert DAS registration team that she should qualify.
How are these registration staff qualified to make medical decisions, especially after a 30-second interview? On several occasions at the Magic Kingdom, my mom almost fainted in the heat and fell off her scooter. We then invested hundreds of dollars on Lightning Lane passes and hours devoted to learning how to even use the Genie Plus service. At many attractions, we witnessed people in wheelchairs who did not have Autism or similar nor did they provide DAS wrist bands or anything else be given return times for that attraction.
We felt belittled and could recognize there was clear favoritism going on, and there was no consistency on who they gave return times to. Fast forward to the next day at Epcot, in the pouring rain, we approached Jonathan at Guardians of the Galaxy. I tried to explain the circumstances and before I could finish, he rudely interrupted and asked if we had a Lightning Lane pass. I said no, not yet, we just wanted to see if there was any accommodation for her condition.
Jonathan then explained that all we needed to do was go on the Disney app and buy a Lightning Lane pass to get on. We were disappointed so little was being done for those guests that needed help. Does this represent the culture of Disney World?
I would hope not. I look forward to speaking with someone about our experience at Disney World.

I done my transaction on 09 03 2024 at university Road branch peshawar but it was declined through credit card but amount deducted from my account and not been reversed
Lightning lane
Quoted 60 min. Waited over 90min for soarin.
Asked the gentleman how many people in the lightning lane got in vs. the regular line and I was told 80 from lightning lane vs 10 for the regular lane. What the heck is going on!!! Does our money not matter?
I understand they pay more money but to let 80 people from the lightning lane in and then let 8 people in the regular lane is straight bill crap!
I will never!!! Visit this park again if this is how greedy your company will be!
